ETB Light Cycle

Hey,
My ETB now resides in my room with the rest of my boids. Normally, the boids are on a 12/12 light cycle, but for four months of the year (breeding cycle) they are on a ~9/13 light cycle. I am aware that, being equatorial animals, ETBs have 12/12 all year, but that with ATBs, a 12/12 photoperiod is not a necessity. Is it a necessity with ETBs, though, because they are more 'delicate'? I can easly hook up another timer to her bulb so she still has 12/12, but I wanted to know if it was necessary.

Thanks!
Zoe

Hey Zoe,
Our ETB's are dispersed all over our home and they are subject to the same light cycle as we are. We have successful matings so I guess they are adaptable in at least the light cycle respect. It seems that as long as the meals come at regular intervals they could care less about light cycle! LOL
