Why I like the prairie kings...
... every year my het pair produces some very nice babies. Problem is , I NEVER keep any! <smacks self in the head> Well, I think I'm keeping this little girl to raise up. Lots of prairies are much lighter, but I like the deeper shades on her. The normals have always been a favorite too. The fact that the parents are het for albino was only a bonus when I found out.

Sweet red on her! I was all set up to get a pair this year but the breeder sold them out from under me!
Nice, as always Mark!

You too Lisa? Thing is.. I was thinking of keeping the albinos (there were 1.2 this year out of 7 eggs) and when I got back to my table at the Daytona show, someone had grabbed a pair. Oh well, they got their $60. worth.
