better prices at shows?

i am going to my first show on the 18th. are the prices better than normal? can i expect to pay less for tanks, supplies and etc? i expect that the animals are better quality, so maybe pricey, but what about supplies? what are your experiences?

Oh, and also, what is the title of that Rhacodactylus book that has been out for a long time? i might see if i can find it. Thanks. Colleen
