Project Ideas

Hey guys I'm having some trouble with my school project. Now the choices were either Snake Husbandry etc. or Common Misconceptions with snakes....I CANT FIND ANYTHING!

I think all I have is the questions people ask me about them? PLEASE if you can help give me some ideas etc I'd love it.

Snake Husbandry would be easy to find
just search online and you'll find tons of those care sheets for them

and then Common Misconceptions with snakes is good too but a bit harder to find facts on supporting your ideas. But I have done a paper during University on this...and I have found a few resources on this (even though I don't have the paper or the resource right now...lol...thrown in garbage after getting the marks..no room....lol)

so both topics aren't that bad..but from what I think snake husbandry would be easier...

Why don't you try a simple project on genes. Serpwidgets has a lot of useful info on dominant and recessive genes and how it affects whether your baby snakes will be a blizzard, a charcoal an anery or a normal. Pretty cool stuff.

Try to go with common misconceptions that you may know. For example snakes are slimey we hear this one alot (from non keepers) when we know they are not slimey, or reptiles only grow to thier environment, common we know thats not true.

Try to do an interview with several people about general questions see how they answer see what thier misconceptions are and if anyone else you ask the same question too answers in a similar way. Then take the time to find out the real facts. And there you go a good well thought out paper sure to get an A+
