They are "Mildly" Venomous... they can cause pain swelling Stomic pain head ache and thats about all. symptoms can last up to 2 weeks  ... i still use a hook when i handle them. im glad you guys like the pic. I love my arboreal colubrids... thats what i am focusing on right now.

Jordon's right in that they aren't a huge deal compared to others. They are venomous and the venom contains the same toxins as a cobra but in smaller quantities for this genus. Even though they don't have the further advancement of highly efficient fangs, they still do have long and sharp teeth towards the back of the mouth. I wouldn't rate them as of any real concern if you don't mind a headache.
