Even if I wanted to hots are against the law to own w/o a special permite in Houston, Texas. But then again it is against the apartment rules to have a ton of fish, 3 cats, a newt, a turtle, a cornsnake, and 4 mice also.....i might want to get a bigger place.

I have a book on Thai and sout east asian reptiles. Its got great pics but i dont have a scanner!
The Chinese green tree viper is also known as the bamboo pit viper. They are nocturnal and semi-arboreal. Frogs are their primary diet but they will also eat small mammals birds and lizards. Litters of 3-10 are born and they resemble aduts. They are found in isolated areas in Thailand, Myanmar and Much of China. They can grow up to 112 cm.
Jus a lil info out the good old book!

i have to agree with what mary said, crap you can get anything you want, who is going to stop you if they don't know about it?
see once i move out i am seriously going to buy a retic and than move on to getting some gaboon vipers. oh well who will stop me. i just hate how restriction on certain species varies in the provinces, like lets look at bc. you can keep large boids in bc, than you can't keep large boids in alberta, than you can't keep any boids at all in sack. its wierd.
well as for hots i am still wondering if they are legal in BC , are they?
