I used to work across the street from the World Trade Center and still can't believe it's gone. I would walk through it every day from the subway to my office. I knew a few of the fire fighters from the Batallion across from the buildings. I'm thankful that they came through it ok. I also have three cousins that are NYC Police Officers that were on the scene that came out ok. My sister worked and still works across the street now and she witnessed it all first hand. I'm still at a loss for words when it comes to all this. The best thing I can think to say has already been said.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I'm glad to see there are no Canada bashers either. Well, I'm Canadian, and I certainly do not believe in God, but my thoughts are with any and all families from all countries who were undeservedly punished on this day 2 years ago, but especially to ALL of my American neighbors, whether they lost someone dear or not, they lost a part of their homeland, their history. My deepest sorrows and condolances.

i look up to the marines and who's ever fighting. I have relatives in USA too and some work for the military/navy.
If i lived in USA, i'd join in a heart beat.
My heart goes out to those who died.

I'm muslim. God bless all the innocents that died on that horrible day and God bless their families and I hope the people who caused such pain in America and around the world get what they deserve.
God help the muslim community from the evil that has taken root within it in the form of extremist Wahabbism. Hope we can get rid of this cancer before it spreads further.
If anyone is interested in understanding more about the muslim community and the struggle between the extremists and moderates in it then I would recommend reading "The Two Faces of Islam: The House of Sa'Ud from Tradition to Terror" by Stephen Schwartz and also "Taking Back Islam" by Michael Wolfe.
