Todd sold me three snakes last week (two yearlings and a hatchling) and they all have taken every two days. The hatchling has already been converted from mice to two rat pups per feeding. (about 1/5 the snake's weight).
He is leaving the herp community and if you want excellent animals I suggest you give him a call. He is in the Hamilton area.
Two rat pups (23g total) to a 120g snake is not too much. I have a female that was at 1200g take over a dozen med and lg rats in a month. She went up to 1800+g. Now she refuses all. They eat when they want to eat. So feed them whenever they want to eat. Snakes are not like dogs, they eat only as much as they want. Nothing wrong. Ask any breeder. The 5-7days for hatchlings and 7-10days for adults is just a recommendation, not a point of fact.
