Hi
i was wondering how other people put there reptile to sleep because i heard there are a lot of different ways...just curious how other people do it...i usually go to the vet and let them over dose the thing...and wut is the less painfull way of putting them 2 sleep and breaking there neck i can never do hearing it crack... but lets hear from u
u can do it the way my friend kills mice, u get a bag of dry ice, and just stick the reptile in there, it kills it instantly, well, u might want to get more info on it, all i kno is, it kills the mice instanly, good luck man, whats wrong with ur herp?
There are many ways of putting a lizard to sleep and most of them I don't agree with. Freezing is an extremely stressful and painful way of death. Cervical dislocation, dry ice etc I can not do for an animal that I've worked so hard with. I do a lot of rescue work with sickly chameleons, and sometimes, as much as I try, they will not heal from their injuries or their problems. If this is the case, they are brought to my vet to be humanely euthanised there. It is only fair that they die in dignity IMHO.
