what would happen if these snake came in contact?

Just out of curiosity, If a Ball Python, and Irian Jaya Carpet Python came in contact, say, in my back yard, would there be a ruckus? I know most people will say "why risk it" And i really dont have any intention of letting them come in contact, but im just curious how you think these 2 pythons might react to each other.

No one can tell you for sure cause all snakes are different. Most likely the two snakes will get along fine, so long as they are similar in size.

Neither are ophidiophages, so unless one smells like rat, they would prolly just crawl over each other. But like Chuck said, no way to know for sure.

Most boids of similar size get along with each other. I've personally seen olive pythons housed together with BCC's, and they don't seem to care about each other. Obviously housing them together should be avoided, but as mentioned above, as long as one doesn't smell like food, they probably won't care about each others' presence.
