Hehe if you comsider 18 young, then I'm with you. Although I only started VERY recently. I don't have any photos and such. I just have been reading about snakes since I was 6 years old. And just now am I becoming an active member of the herp community. I've gone out on a couple of herping expiditions but with no luck so far

I am 20 but I have been into reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, etc, etc. since I was old enough to crawl. So I used to be a young herper. I have drawers and book shelves full of herp research I have done and books, etc. I fully support getting into herpetology when you are young, I did and I will be herping until I die.

I'm 11 and I have been herping since I was 9. Buy the way garterguy, I saw a vicious garter snake for £10 in a pet store today. Do you think it could be tamed? I think it's about 3 years old.
