Careful about the male on that tank size should he exceed 21 inches, reptilez. The hemipenes are kept in pockets in the base of the tail and if he spends too much time with his tail curled up it can lead to fertility problems and an increased risk of prolapse.
Imagine compressing the family jewels every time you turn around. Ewwwwwww!!!
Is your basking temp high enough, it's very unusual for a healthy male to spend most of his time basking, especially when caged with a female. They tend to be quite active then.
basking temp is 105F-115F(somewhere between there). But im at skool 6 hours a day, so i dont know what he does when im not there. when i am there he is either eating or basking.
I recomend a great company if anyone needs custom cages to be built the e-mail is uniquexotic@aol.com if that does't work try dritz69@aol.com i recomend them they asre really good.
