Ryan and Sheila (Scales Zoo)....Excellent peoples!! :-)
I received 2 awesome monster female Jungles a few weeks back and they just shed out so I took some photos. 2 beauties! And they are massive!!
Thanks you guys. And anyone who is thinking of dealing with Ryan and Sheila, don't hesitate! They are super prompt on all emails, are very knowledgable, and excellent shippers. These guys know what they are doing. Good stuff.
Thanks again.
Can't wait to see the clutches from these girls next year!! 25+ eggies???

Ryan & Sheila suck & so do those Jungles! JUST KIDDING! They are wicked people & I considered buying those snakes myself. Glad to hear you are enjoying your new snakes. I'll second the fact that SCALES/HISS (Ryan & Sheila) are excellent people to deal with. I've dealt with them lots in the past & plan on doing so in the future as well. NUFF SAID! Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!

Yeah they are great. The thing I liked best was the promptness and thoroughness of the emails and communication. It makes all the difference in the world for snake transactions.
Cheers.

Jeff - I'm glad you are happy with the snakes. You'll have to snap some pictures that better shows their yellow. The female we decided to keep was actually larger than both of those snakes. I'm very glad they went to someone who likes jungles as much as you do - next year you are going to have 100's of babies.
Thanks for the nice post Jeff, here and at that other site.
Mark Isbell is a Dork.
Actually - Mark and I share something a bit special. The first TARAS show Sheila and I attended - we met Mark. At the time, we were both frantically cruising the show looking for good colubrid breeding deals. Between Him, Kyle, Sheila, I, and Byron and Kaley - I think we bought "B.C reptile breeders" out of adult colubrid snakes that year.
Years later, Mark now has blue beauty and Indigo eggs in the incubator, Byron and Kaley are running a successful mouse and rat factory (and have our blue beauty trio), and Sheila and I have the zoo - and many boas and pythons that otherwise we wouldn't be able to keep.
Byron, Mark and I had more hair the first time we all met, when we younger and "the new generation of herpers" - but after pulling a bit of it out - we all have found success in what we like to do.
Thanks for the kind words Jeff and Mark
Ryan and Sheila

Ha ha, I know, I know. I actually took these photos last night but I had to use a flashlight because it was in complete darkness. If I didn't use the flashlight, the flash on the DC would overcompensate!! But they always hide during the day. I'll get some better photos. That one bottom female has colors that rival my prize adult female from last year! I'm super excited to breed her to a new male I got!! Can't wait!

Ha ha, I'll have 8 monster females ready to go next year, so it could be 160+ eggies! Yikes. Not looking forward to housing all those brats!! LOL!!
Take care guys, and thanks again. The herp community is very very cool sometimes.

<laugh> Having met and dealt with SCALES a few times, we'd have to say that no one should deal with them ever again (that way only we can buy their snakes).
In fact, we so detest these guys so much, that in one week are personally going to visit them in Saskatchewan and spend the night there.
Nice jungles BTW Jeff.
Yeah, TARAS, is real special to us too. Our first show is where we met Ryan and Sheila and Mark, plus Walter, John K (not Jon K), and a few others.
