Technically, reptiles grow all their life.. I consider an adult is an adult when it's sexually mature.. usually 2 and a half to 3 in coastal..
full grow.. well its a hard call as feeding decides size and not years..

I guess they stop growing when they die. They might not get longer after a certain age but they always get thicker.

yeah... I know they grow there whole life and there growth depends on feeding...... I was just on another site that had a pic of a 12 foot male coastal and it got me wondering that's all. Im hoping my little guy/girl (???) ends up to be on the bigger side of things.

wether he or she ends up big right now depends totally on the genetics of his parents.. He may have it in him to get to be 12 feet like he may not surpass the 9 feet range..
If u can pin point the adults.. it should give u a small idea of what to expect..

I could give a slightly larger idea of what to expect... almost 2 points larger as determined by the Northern Organization for Total Appraisal of Creatures Later Unrecognized Eggs. (the NOT-A-CLUE foundation.)

actually..... I did ask the guy that breed him how big the parents were. If I remember right I think he said the mother was 5 and about 9 feet, and the father was 4 and about 7 feet, and that was about 5 months ago. I know not to expect her/him to get huge...... I just thought it would be kinda cool. Besides... the 12 footer that was on the other site looked overweight as if it were power fed..... can't even really tell if it's really a coastal since it's so dark, here take a look http://www.moreliapythons.com/forum/...opic.php?t=639

DVS. personally I think it absolutly means nothing about the size of your baby.. u know the size of the adults at 5 yo .. at 10 years old they both could be over 10 feet.. lol
To me .. U could have a monster on your hands like a small one .. who knows .. I say feed em up and see lol
