Well this is just for the first years, eventually we'll have something bigger..
It's a 100G tank on it's side.

Snakemann87, I like your home made cage for your burm, but I think that it should be bigger if you want it for a full grown burm.
Just my opinion.

Lisa, great idea using bungee cords to hold the screen on the cage on it's side. I've always thought some of the standard sized tanks work better on their sides for some reptiles and never was able to think of a great way to keep it closed.

I would question the effectiveness of the bungee cords holding the screen unless you have some sort of locking device. Snakes will find any weakness and exploit it. If there is any "give" the snake will try it's hardest to work it's way out.

The bungy cords are on tight, trust me, I nearly lost an eye putting them on... I can barely get another inch out of them. to open it we slide it to the side. since putting it on it's side it's been much easier to clean (i could barely reach the bottom before) and far easier to change the water.

Lisa, is that screen on the front?
If it is isnt't that hard to keep the temp and humidity up?
