It's been awhile since I checked in here, life just has that way of getting in the way. I'm having to get rid of most of my snake collection as my old lady is actually enlisting into the military and where we're moving isn't cool with snakes. However I did recently pick up a pair of these little yellow ackies and I've got to say they are absolutely the coolest reptiles I've had the pleasure of keeping.
They're eternally curious and hungry little critters and it's a hoot to watch them fly around the cage slaughtering crickets and going for dives in their water bowl (they seem to relish dirtying it up it up as soon as I change it). Anyways just thought I'd share some pics while they're still wee little babes. All the best

I am more of a red ackie monitor lover (I just like the deep red they develop as adults), but I have to admit they are adorable.
