Best Climate Control System

Hello people,

I am looking at building a new viv for my GTP. I am going to be doing a bio active viv the same as her old one.

I am trying to find a new climate control system that can be set up for the whole year in order to replicate the climate of the country of origin. I would like it to control everything including lighting heating humidity etc. I would also like it to be able to gradually increase lighting and heating to replicate the gradual increase during day light and night time.

In her old viv i was using the micro climate evo. But want something a bit more advanced.

I have searched the internet and come up empty handed.

Any help with this would be fantastic

Re: Best Climate Control System

Jungle Hobbies LED system is about the closest you'll get to light control but they're not cheap. I know of a UK distributor if you are interested.

To be honest without going custom the Evo is about as good as it gets. You could upgrade to the Pro to get humidity control. The Pro also has 8 time zones allowing a more gradual ramping of temperature. Note that most people on here have no idea what the Evo and Evo Pro do as there is no us distributor

I am looking at exactly the same scenario and have found a multi plug that allows 4 of the sockets to be programmed so you could have lights switch on and off in sequence. More than that i cannot find. Look at Energenie on Amazon UK.

It would make an interesting Arduino or Pi project and I have something in mind along those lines but am at the very early stage of it all.
