Mbk
So I've been considering picking up a MBK lately and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good place to look? I would like to get one from a reputable breeder if possible. Thanks in advance guys!

Re: Mbk
Sorry Raven. Looks like your post slipped past us. I got my MBK from Reptiles By Mack years ago. BHB Enterprises is another reputable large scale breeder. I've also heard good things about Isis Reptiles. There are a few ads on kingsnake.com. Best wishes in your search.

Re: Mbk
I got my first snakes in years, a Corn and King, from BHB just the other day, Wednesday (Mar 01) to be exact, and they are doing just fine.
Looking around before I bought my two girls, I read a lot, looked at posts in various forums, blogs, etc. and you will most probably find one or two disgruntled patron complaining about this breeder and that breeder, and some breeders have just a downright bad reputation. But I kind of liked Brian Barczyk's videos and he seems rather concerned about his breeding, especially when his retic recently died. He almost reminds me of Steve Irwin, but not quite.
One thing I didn't like, when I was at the last reptile expo two weeks ago, were the prices they were charging compared to the on-line breeders. Way overpriced as far as I'm concerned though you get to see the health of the reptiles up front and in person.

Re: Mbk
I love Brian and watch his vlogs almost daily. I remember the Sunshine one...devastating (she was a burm though )
I live in Montana and to my knowledge there aren't any decent reptile shows near by that I wouldn't have to drive 5+ hours.
No worries El Ziggy, thanks for getting back to me Always appreciated. I will check BHB again and see if he has any...last I checked they were sold out but maybe I'll send him an email.
Thanks for the response guys!

Re: Mbk
Try Gerold Merker. He specialises in gray bandeds, arizona mountain kings but he may be able to help you out. He is a accomplished breeder and author of kingsnakes. I will see if i can dig up his card for you.

Re: Mbk
You could post a "wanted" on fauna classifieds. I had been considering one myself, but I picked up a baby speckled king at the Hamburg show last weekend. I like the contrast even better than the all-black, and the price was great, about 1/3-1/2 the usual online price for MBK's.

No worries! We all start somewhere
The website wasn't working properly so I wasn't able to check out any of their snakes right now =/
I'm not terribly fond of many types of kings honestly, I really like the aberrant white/blacks, high white albinos, etc. though.
I have my all white snake (snow stripe corn) so now I need an all black snake (really want an eastern indigo but..........)
Thanks for all the replies guys!!
