Exclamation Scab or infection on boas nose?

My red tail boa recently (a few months ago) injured herself somehow. I think she scraped off a scale or two on her nose. I've seen it happen to other boas so I'm not sure if it's a common thing for boas to do?
Anyway, it didn't look infected to me, and I posted about it when I first noticed it and nobody seemed too worried about it so I cleaned it up with pure water and cleaned her enclosure. I know for sure it's not a burn because her lamp isn't close enough to burn her. I use repti-bark substrate and she has a stone water bowl.
So now the injury seems to have risen and created a scab look to it but I have no experience with external injuries in snakes so I have no idea if it's just a healed scab or an infection.
I have a link to a few pictures I took but the thread refuses to let me link it since I am a new member.

Whether it's a scab or infection, is there anything I can do? And if it's infected, are there any ways to clean it up myself? Of course, if I can't do it myself, I will make an appointment with my vet.
Thanks in advance.

If you'd like the link to the photos you could pm me, if that lets me send links. I'm not sure.
