Question Herping for brownsnakes

I am in the piedmont reigion of Georgia rn, and I was wondering where to look for brownsnakes or dekays snake.

Aren't they like brumating now? Not that I'm from the US or know where to find Storeria sp. But since it's winter months I doubt they would be on any usual spots.

I'm up north, but I actually have them in my yard, find them under boards, carpet, etc.

While you may find them on the move, your best bet is to flip them. You can likely find them under logs, boards, or tin. You can also dig through leaf and brush piles.
