This Is Me Not Getting Another One.....

I was supposed to meet a guy to pick up 3 nice new enclosures today. The whole day STARTED sucky then just got even suckier as the day went on. Guy ended up flaking on me and I had cash just burning a hole in my wallet....because I suck at saving....

Soooo I went to the local reptile store near work (left early since I'd been feeling sick all day and the guy canceling just was the last push I needed to not stay any longer). Nothing there really caught my eye to say the least. Some nice things, but mostly over priced or beyond my space allowance or ability to provide for. So I left with just a bag full of super worms.

From there went to petco to pick up sanichips for my gopher and kings annnnd...well, of COURSE I had to see what they had in the reptile section. I NORMALLY don't buy my reptiles there. Buuuut, they had 2 animals just SCREAMING my name. One was a plated lizard, but a quick google on care and adult size had me going 'Nope!' (Even if it was a really nice animal tbh). The other was a gargoyle gecko. He was tucked away in the back corner and a good size too. And...I could TELL it was a boy.

A sucker for a deal, I asked to look at it since I couldn't see much more than his undertail. I really only like the striped patterned gargs so told myself if it wasn't a stripe, I'd pass. Low and behold....It's a chocolate stripe! Yup, had to have him to compliment my lovely orange stripe unsexed baby lol.

So I got him boxed up, grabbed my sanichips and a few things for the dogs and headed home, feeling pretty good really.

Now Solara (gopher), Pharoah (brooks king), and 'MBK' (needs a name, Maybe Anubis to compliment Pharoah?), all got fresh bedding instead of paper towels! And my new gargoyle got set up in an exoterra I was trying to sell....oops...what do they say about empty tank syndrome? Lol.

Anyway, here are some pics of the new guy. =)

Albert. There is no heat. Gargoyles are like cresteds in that they need cool ambient temps and med-high humidity. =)

I'm sure I have a limit! I just haven't found it yet.....lol.

I still want to get into frogs and ither lizards outside of geckos too lol.
