Talking Because we see too little Burms on here (Update on Loki)

Here's an update on my little trouble maker Labyrinth het Albino burm(Loki), he is actually doing pretty well for a change! And is looking great! After his mites, eye damage, and refusing to eat for ages... He seems to have turned around.. On 10-12-15 with his last update, he was 3ft 11", today he measures in at 4ft 4" and he gained a Lot of girth, adult rats were a big meal before, now it leaves a small bulge.

Really happy, especially since right after my last update i took him to the vet to take a look at his eyes, and he again refused 3 meals after that. The white edges are not stuck eyecaps, it doesn't look like unhealthy tissue either so it's just a matter of waiting to see what happens. Maybe he'll grow out of it, maybe not.. All i know and care about is that he is doing very well now and looks great, i think it even looks a little cute.. I do have to heat up his food a lot before he will take it, which could possibly mean his eyesight is a bit poorer than i thought (He only seems to respond to warm visual stimulants). He has eaten his past 10 meals without issue, this is the longest he has gone without refusal. And he is visually improving a lot from eating this well. He is getting a bit more confident and even cheeky with his meals, slams down on it. Have to start watching my fingers haha! Not just that but he is no longer stuck in his hide 99% of the time, and feels confident enough to threaten me with what i'm sure he considers a very frightening hiss

Very pretty burm and great to see him doing well. Kudos for taking the time and effort to turn him round.

Looks like he is in good hands

This little guy is my favourite snake posted on this forum. I love seeing updates of him and I'm glad to see he's coming along nicely. He's a real beauty mate

I love morphs that are bit "off" from the normal morph but still look natural I wish they were easier to find in the states now lol

Now that you mention it.. there really is a serious burm shortage on this site. He's looking great

Wow! There he is. Terrific looking guy. I was wondering what happened to Lab. Glad he's okay.
