Burmese morph question

Hey folks,

I was wondering i anybody with experience in the burmese morphs can explain me what a blonde and a caramel is? Is this the same of different morphs? Or maybe different lines of a morph? And how are both get made, which parents or hets are needed?

Thanx

Re: Burmese morph question

As far as i know, Caramel and Blonde are the same thing (T+Albino's ), a simple recessive trait. Both parents need to be at least gene carriers. Some people even think they're the same thing as fires, but that is a just a different name for the co-dominant trait 'hypo'. Don't see why everyone has to stick a different name on it, i find it confusing too.

Re: Burmese morph question

Yeah those exist, i have however never seen a Hypo Caramel. I have seen some animals of which were claimed to be hypo caramels though, but no proof. As far as i know the only attempt so far has botched.. But i haven't been keeping up as much lately.
