He may have been a DOR...got hit in front of me while road cruising. I wear size 12 shoes for comparison.

Man that's huge! Such a shame that it got run over.

I had a similar experience last year with a big Cottonmouth. Biggest one I had ever seen (by a long shot) around here and it got hit right in front of me.

You should preserve it in some way, one of my friends used to kill them, i know it sucked, but some of the diamond backs were massive, i remember the. Biggest was 6.5-7 feet, they still have the skin and its crazy.

Oh, he was killing them because he had chickens and the rattlers were apparently a threat.

It definitely sucks that he got hit. I wish I could have saved him..he was pretty old.
