Growth rate of Cresties?

I have had my crestie for about 2 years now, and to be honest I feel like he hasnt grown much. Im wondering if it is something I have personally been doing wrong or do they just have a slow growth rate! I tried to weigh him on a scale today but lately he has been super flighty and im unable to even hold him. Any advice on this will be great!
Thanks in advance guys and if you also have any tips on how to hand tame him again that would be great!

Depends on how old he was when you got him. You'll see the fastest growth in the first year, but some can take up to 2 years to mature to an adult weight. Some just naturally stay small. It's hard to tell you much without knowing it's age and weight. Honestly, if it's eating and shedding properly, I wouldn't worry about growth rate unless you wanted to breed.

I'm in the same boat... My gecko just turned 2, 3 months ago. He/she has definitely grown some, but not as much as I expected. I am planning on doing a new vivarium for him/her in the coming month. My Crestie eats (more so now with the Pangea banana and apricot over the repashy cgd) and poops and sheds, so I guess it is normal. I have never fed him insects, although he may have eaten some millipedes when I first got him as they were in the soil of the plants I put in the vivarium... He/she now acts like he/she's hunting sometimes lol.

Bugs can be a good source of protien and some cresties have a preference. Most of my adults over 3 years old aren't too interested in bugs, but one still is, so once a month he gets some mealies. The younger ones get small mealies once a week and a constant supply of Pangea (watermelon mango).
