New enclosures, happy geckos!

So I had my two switch into tanks quite a few times. Things kept changing care-wise - I started with sand like the pet store guy said, then switched to carpet, paper towels, newspaper..then decided to try things the way I wanted and just give them a natural substrate. I mixed 50/50 dirt-sand and so far they LOVE it. I gave them lots of things to explore and made them a weird wood castle thing that they're enjoying so far.

Pictures aren't the best but just got a few.

I did a similar large set up for my leos, the only difference was I used live plants, what are you using for heat, and what is your basking spot and humidity. The reason I ask is that I raised my basking spot to 120 F and the humidity to 65, their behaviour totally changed, did you see a difference?

Re: New enclosures, happy geckos!

They have quite a bit of humidity and their entire tank is a lot hotter. They have a light and heat pad and the spot is 104. Humidity, I'm not sure as I have nothing to check but it's been a lot more humid that before. They are definitely moving around a lot more already and they've been digging and hunting more actively!

Some more from today during feeding.

Blizzard with a cricket smile.
