freshly shed!!

My little girl finally shed again! All her temps and humidity are correct and she seems perfectly healthy in every way but she doesnt shed quite as often as it seems most snakes do. This one came off all in one piece except for a small bit of her eye cap which quickly came off in a warm wet towel!

Re: freshly shed!!

Nice stripes! I know how stressful shedding can be for 'us' lol. I have a leo that ALWAYS requires help no matter the temps and humidity (I blame the care he got before I got him).

Glad to hear that she's doing well though! As far as her shedding more often, perhaps up her feeding? I know they shed most as they grow but not sure if that's her case or not.

Either way, she's a true beauty!

Re: freshly shed!!

What a pretty Rosy! My Rosies get super lethargic when in shed and won't move for days. So I just plop a wet paper towel on top of them. It will dry out before they will attempt to move.

Re: freshly shed!!

Thanks Paris! I love little rosies, and this girl made an awesome first snake. Shes only handled occasionally and has never been flighty, aggressive, or anything besides chilled out regardless of who handles her. Definitely confirmed my decision to get another snake(s) but i doubt that ill get as lucky with the temperament from a BRB and a JCP, which will be my next snakes. Im waiting till i graduate and have the money and space to properly take care of them though!
