Good day all. I wanted to introduce my Asian Water Monitor Yoshi. I have had him/her for a little over a month now. he/she is a farm bread baby and coming along nicely. I got it from underground reptiles. and it has never made a single strike or whip at me. that being said it would since day one take its food from the tongs and stand on my hand to feed. and these are cell phone pictures because I can't afford one of those big fancy cameras that might do it justice lol.
I so wish moniters didn't get so big so I could have one lol dame goes for gators lol.
could always get red ackies. they stay small. lol and thank you guys. we are working on making it a friendly lizard because this will be our PET. I have always loved monitors and now I get to own one. I wish that someone had cbb komodo dragons lol.
I wish. Lol. They are cool and intelligent but I would have to see more research on how they are kept and I doubt I could give them the nessisary space and ... but if they werent endangered and were available I think I would give it a go.
Just how big is that pretty thing going to get? And I'd also like to see it's enclosure. ^_^
The body shape reminds me of Joanna the goanna from Rescuers Down Under. Hehe.
that was almost it's name. wow. the wife and I were kicking around that and yoshi and yoshi won. lol. they get from my understanding 6-9' and I will get pictures of the enclosure later. it is still not finished but it will be in time.
