Karl The Costa Rican Boa's Picture Thread
I'm mostly starting this thread so that I can give people a quick link to pictures of what Karl looks like when the question comes up, but I'll probably update it on rare occasions until it gets deleted or I forget about it.
Anyway, Karl is one of Vin Russo's Costa Rican boas (BCI). More specifically, he's a Liberia (town in northern Costa Rica) locality and direct descendent of the Costa Rican BCI's at Zoocriadero World of Snakes in Grecia, Alajuela, Costa Rica (mentioned in The Complete Boa Constrictor).
..:. World of Snakes Costa Rica .:...
I took this picture of Karl today (12/29/14), nearly six months from the day he was born (6/27/14).

These are pictures of his current cage, but I plan on getting him a new one in the near future.

Re: Karl The Costa Rican Boa's Picture Thread
Thanks, Minkness. I decided to add the pic of him eating a mouse after you asked if he was easy to feed.

Re: Karl The Costa Rican Boa's Picture Thread
Yea they're great feeders, I have a female and she's NEVER skipped a meal, even when she had mites after getting her, she's always taken food! So it's nice to have a snake eating when my other 2 wont at all!

Re: Karl The Costa Rican Boa's Picture Thread
She's absolutely gorgeous!
The biggest boas I've ever seen were from Costa Rica. I was visiting the serpentarium during my trip to Costa Rica (I don't remember where exactly) and the big ones must have been like 9-10ft long. The smaller ones were about 6-7ft, and there may have been one 5ft one.
