New Paroedura androyensis

A box full of cute just arrived on my front door.I'll work on getting some better pictures once they've settled in. That's providing, of course, that I actually see them again someday.

Wow! That's awesome, they are tiny. Do they get bigger than that?

Thank you. Busy two days, actually. We moved the ball in yesterday. It's a trio, too young to sex.

Thanks, they sure are! They get bigger, but not too much. Two and a half inches would be decent sized for an adult.

Wow! That's crazy, I'd be scared to keep something that small, lol!

Yes, same genus as Pictus Geckos, which are more frequently seen in captivity. The common name for these is Grandidier's Madagascar Ground Gecko.

David Attenborough mentioned a chameleon as small as these geckos in his Life in Cold Blood documentary! Very nice 2 inch reptiles!

Re: New Paroedura androyensis

What are they eating? Do they stalk or ambush their food?
