I do, .......... they are comical, and when they grow they tend to destroy your house.....lol......mine love to eat gyprock.....so a well built enclosure of adequate size is needed. Other than the size and the large amounts of food that they eat, they are great tortoises to keep.

by all means......but anything in their reach is fair game.....they tend to be very mischievious and curious ALL the time.

my female is 5 years, 12" shell, the male is 7 years, 15"+ shell. Their growth if fairly slow. The male seems ready to want to breed where the female could care less that he's even there half the time.
