This morning while out on a walk with my dogs I noticed the grass on a hillside had been flattened in areas. It looked like something had been dragged through it. Well I followed the trail in the grass and it led to this!
Super cool find. I've never seen anything laying in the wild but I've watched 2 male northern water snakes court a female and watched as she became receptive to one of them. The loser went back into the water.
