Help identify snake!!!!!

This snake is about 4-6 inchs long it was riding in my hand because it was in my glove riding home from work I came home threw my gloves on the floor like I always do and that thing fell out! I'm aboit to get a picture up in a min!

Sorry couldn't get the pic on here from my phone but it had a lot of markings and stuff that it was a nonvenomous snake so ya

Umm...hate to break it to ya, but many venomous snakes have "markings and stuff." Especially here in the U.S. Care to describe it in a little more detail? Chances are it was a harmless species, but your logic for determining that is incorrect. Just being truthful. Would hate for you to make a fatal mistake in identification in the future.

It had round pupils 4-6 inchs long it had two rows of scales after its pooper.
It was dark brown mostly solid colored but u could look closly and see a little bit of a pattern it seemed like it might of had a heat sensor inbeteen its nose and eye but it was too small to really see it couldve jist been a scale ending.. uhhm I think that's it lol
