mealworm colony disaster

So a couple months ago, I had started a mealworm colony. I have about 20-30 beetles right now and I have about 100 + babies that I'm starting to see and they're on oats as a bedding. and to the story, I had put in a banana peel overnight and woke up to a bunch of mold inside one of my containers. I quickly seperated the beetles out and sifted out the worms but their is still a small bit of mold on small dusty pile of crumbs that went through the sifter. does anyone know if it will be alright to have a little bit of mold?
