Ball Python Pics

Hey, Everyone! Here are some pictures of my Ball Python, which I got exactly 10 days ago Doesn't take long to fall in love with these guys! I am having him/her sexed tomorrow. He/She is 1'9". Btw, I would definitely recommend this snake measuring tool
- Serpwidgets - Snake Measurer
And although almost every single Reptile collector will say that these guys are "Pet Rocks" This guy's the exact opposite!

I got him/her from PetSmart, who got the snake from a third party breeder. So, I'd say 1-2 years, based on his/her size. 1'9". I hate saying him/her, so I am taking him/her to be sexed, tomorrow Thanks for the reply, btw!

Re: Ball Python Pics

i would guess under 1 year, if it's been fed with any degree of regularity. Petsmart/breeders selling to petsmart are unlikely to hold onto an animal for that amount of time. Are you getting it sexed at a vets office? consider getting it checked for fecal parasites as well.

edit: he/she is a very handsome snake, congratulations

Well thanks for the info, and the compliment! Had the snake sexed today. It's a male. I didn't take him to the vet, I took him to a Reptile store (A very credible one, at that). Thanks, again!

Re: Ball Python Pics

I would say under a year as well judging on the size in general, but he/she is a cutie! I love ball pythons, they aren't too much of a "rock" like some people say Congrats on the new addition!

That is very true! My Ball is the COMPLETE opposite of a "pet rock". He's super wiggly, and super active!
