Updated pics
So, I had my "black blood" girl 'Kita out for some enclosure maintenance and snapped some shots. Fresh shed too. I know you guys always love pictures. She's weighing in at just under 2lbs now. She stayed in the exact same position on the carpet for the entire cleaning... laziest. snake. ever.

Re: Updated pics
Wow, she's stunning! I love how dark she is, and how thick those bloods get.

Re: Updated pics
Thanks guys! I love her dark coloration as well! I've only seen a few as dark as her. @smy- Sorry, should've included something in the pic for reference. She's a little over 2 1/2 feet long and about 13 inches in diameter at the thickest part. I'm not sure on her age. I could be way off, but my best estimate is roughly a year and some change based on average growth rates I've read about from other owners. That, of course, is faulty due to under/overfeeding possibilities. Previous owner was not sure unfortunately.

I'm sure you mean circumference, not diameter lol. Regardless, she's bigger around than some peoples' biceps!! Gonna be thick girl.

Haha, no future plans for a boyfriend. I hadn't ever planned on breeding any of my snakes. Although, she's so dark, I'm thinking I wouldn't mind finding a really dark male to pair her up with. My personal preference on these guys is the darker, the more stunning they are. Don't know what the market would be for them lol, but I admit some babes would be cool.

Judging by peoples response to her black color I think they would be in high demand =]

Haha, a mathematician I am not. Yes, meant circumference. Always get those mixed up for some reason. She is, in fact, about as big around as a slightly muscular guy's bicep. I know these guys can become obese due to their slow metabolism, so I am careful about how and when I feed her.

Re: Updated pics
Oh she is sweet looking. Short, dark and thick what more could you ask for? lol
The market for Blacks is really booming. Your girl much dark than my Chrome Heads. Every time i post pictures of them i get a ton of people asking when i am going to have babies and what i would sell them for. You wouldn't have Snyder trouble selling them.
