Lampropeltis mexicana greeri
Again, more or less by coincidence we ended up with another snake. This one is a normal Durango Mountain King Snake, male, about 5 years old, and from the same breeder we got our first king snake from. Like the first, it is a male that he no longer breeds.
I haven't measured the little guy yet, but for a fully grown king snake he is tiny, smaller than one of my corns. His disposition is amazing mellow and curious, exploring actively when you handle him.
While rearranging his new home I realized his feeding response is well-developed, too. He bit, held on for 20 seconds, and released as I was on my was to the kitchen sink to convince him to let go Then was just again a pleasure to handle. Now he has a mouse f/t thawing, so let's see how he does.

I would think breeders would still use a 5 year old snake?

I believe the female died and he didn't get a replacement. And he is eating right now, I will take some shots once he's further along.

Yes, he did indeed look thin to me, and I could tell be his behavior that he was hungry, too. He's been real active, but very calm when handled. I don't think he was neglected in any way, just skinnier than I would expect a king snake to be, even if this type doesn't get very large.
Yes, I'd love to see some greei pictures.

He is getting two mice a week, and they are large enough to be a challenge for him. He also sheds well, so I have no concern.
