Question enclosure size

I have a 7 month-old male bp that is about 30-32
in. long. He has grown about 12-14 in. since I got him in Nov/04. Is this a good size? Also, I keep him in a 50 gallon glass aquarium, with a plastic lined screen top. I have heard that this could be too large, even though I have never had any problems with feeding (except during shed, and even then, he only went off for a week). Is it too big?

Have you heard of keeping bp's in rubbermaid containers instead of an aquarium? The glass aquarium won't provide your snake the humidity that it needs. There are TONS of threads just on this subject in this forum--check out some old posts.

I'm sure you will get other responses too.

Good luck!

If you have hinds in there (both sides) he should be good and if you have plastic on the top you should not have a problem keeping humidity in.
