What will fit?

Yesterday I picked up a beautiful hexagonal (6 sides for those of you who let simple things like that leave your head much like i do lol sadly enough had to consult my little brother) glass aquarium. The guy who had it before me had a large snake in it. It's 2 3/4 ft wall to opposite wall on everyside. And it's 3 ft tall. I would like to house a snake in it but currently where I'm leaving someone I live with is petrified of snakes so my snake keeping wont happen for another couple of months. In the mean time I'm looking for something that will happily live in this tank. I've been looking at numerous types of geckos and differant lizards that climb. I was just wondering if anyone has an reccomendations for a lizard (or pair preferably) that would live in this beautiful tank and take advantage of its size both its ground area, and height.

Thanks for those who look and answer.
John-Paul

I totally agree, cresties. Or if you can find any gargoyle gecko's as well. They are awesome!

I was definatly thinking cresties myself my girl fell in love with them when i showed her some pictures a month ago, and I like the lil guys myself. I was thinking about getting leo's but I dont think they'll put that tank too much use so I've got a nice 30 gallon for a pair, possibly a trio. What are some good breeders you'd reccomend for cresties? I'll probably pick them up at the White Plains show but if theres nothing there I like I will definatly buy from a breeder online. Id even like to purchase from someone off this forum if they are willing to make a good offer on a couple. Moneys no issue if I didn't have the money I wouldn't have the amount of reptiles I do lol which i dont need to tell any of you im sure 90% of the people on here see weekly wallet/bank account decreases more so than mine but you gotta love it.

Also, still open to options the tank is still empty, but I'm off to freshen up on cresties, which ive done before but never too seriously or in depth, and I'm going to do some looking at gargoyle geckos as well.

personally, if i had such an enclosure (actually, i do, but the top is broken so i use it for fish), i would get a pair of giant waxy monkey tree frogs. they are incredibly cool. they are big and bright green with orange feet, and tend to be very active and cool to watch. with prehensile feet!

You could probably fit a pair of giant leaf tails in there...or a 1.2 group of cresties

any idea of a leaf tail dealer in the states? I didn't think i could fit a pair in there but that would be excellent. If you know of any place with multiple leaf tail species available especially giant leaf tails i'd great appreciate it I'm having very little luck finding any.

Well I have decided on a 1 yr and 2 month old male crested gecko. I found a breeder near me who was selling his last adult and I got a good price on him too. $45.00 I'm going to pick him up in a day or two whenever we decide, and I'll have pics of him in his new enclosure. But here's one he took for now.
