BP Getting Ready for First Shed

I tried to feed my BP which I was told is about 6 months old each day for the last 3 days without success. Today, I noticed that its eyes are starting to cloud over. Since this is my first experience with a shed, I was wondering how long should I expect it to take for the shed to begin now that its eyes are clouding over?

I have already replaced the regular water dish with a larger one so that the BP can soak in it to help it remove the old skin.

I also assume that I should not attempt to feed until about a week after the shed is complete. Is this correct?

THANKS!

the eyes will go clear, then bout 3 to 5 days later you BP will shed. Wait a couple days then try to feed after dark. You said you were trying to feed him every day? You shoiuldn't try every day. After you try once, waut about 5 to 7 days before you try to feed again. Good luck with your BP.

You can feed them the day they shed.

Spraying (misting) down the enclosure to increase humidity can only help... hopefully less problems with patchy shedding then.
