Some suprises were waiting for me when I came home from the expo today!!
You take a male salmon DH for sunglow (albino)
add one of these a female Type 2 anery
and you end up with some of these
The salmons in this litter are Salmon DH for type 2 anery (aka type 2 ghost) 50% poss. het for albino (blizzard) these are possible triple hets.
Breeding triple hets together you could have the following 8 phenotypes in one litter - salmons, type 2 anerys, type 2 ghosts, normals, albinos, sunglows, type 2 snows (blizzards) and the triple het combination a boa that expressed all 3 traits at the same time. What that would look like who the hell knows but it will be interesting to find out. I think that is right anyway LOL I will have to bust out the old genetics text books on that one.
The normal colored ones are 100% het for type 2 anery 50% possible het for albino (blizzard)
If these were to prove out you would have 4 phenotypes - normals, albinos, type 2 anerys and type 2 snows ( blizzards)
Litter consisted of 6 salmons 9 normals and no slugs. Best of all these guys are tiny and will stay small mom is only a hair over 4 feet at almost 5 years of age.
Enjoy
Dan

I've never seen a blizzard boa, or a type 2 ghost.
Are there gonna be any babies from this litter for sale? I know how much you like genetics, and the triple het possibilities - I'd imagine you'd want to keep many for yourself.
If not.....
Congrats (again)
