Freckled, Timor, Macklots

I am wondering what all the differences are between the three species commonly reffered to as Freckeld Python, Macklots python, and Timor Python. I know that the Freckled python and Macklots are basically the same thing but it all gets confusing in all these sheets a read. Thanks.

I've been looking into this too. freckeled and macklot are both Liasis mackloti mackloti. I'm unsure from your question though if you are asking about Timor pythons or timor local macklots. Timor local macklots tend to freckelier , if I remember what I read corectly

Timor pythons on the other hand are a totally different snake.

On the last link it says it should be called the timor python but if the freckled and macklots are the same, and timor python is totally different, then it just defeats what you said?

lol no it doesnt read carefully. They say it SHOULD be called the Timor python but it isn't. The Timor Python isnt known to be found on timor and the Macklot is common which is why they said the macklot should be called the "timor python." Here's another link I just found on Python Timoriensis. LINK

hope that clears it up a bit
