I'm getting a new BP soon and i want to know if it would be fine to keep a hatchling in a 20 gal....I have a feeling its a bit too big, another option i have is to switch him into a 15 gal and move my leopard geckos to the 20 gal, would 15 still be too big if i supply sufficient hides?
Yeah its a little big. If you get a couple rubbermaids of various sizes you can move him from size to size easily and cheaply (of course don't move him everyweek, but go from a 10gal RB, to a 15gal, and then to a 20 or to his final cage).
I think the fifteen with three hids would be fine. I've started two of mine in a fifteen and it worked out great. But like Zoe said a rubbermaid is great too. I've used the sweater size one for balls too.
Cheers,
Trevor
