Hello! I am new here so I'm really sure how this works. But basically I need help in identifying a snake I caught a little while back. It was caught in central Ohio. I know the pictures are not the greatest but any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
It's hard to tell from the small overlighted picture, the headshape and patterning under the eye makes me say Storeria dekayi (De kay's brown snake) But you'd need a better picture to confirm it, can't see its back pattern.

Yeah i could see it being a dekays brown, but the white belly throws me off. I know they have light colored underscales but that is like, white. Granted, the pictures are very overexposed so it could look different in real life, it is defenitely something along that type of snake though.
