Talking with Joe switalski online I convinced myself to jump on a female Suriname.
He told me it is of brownsweg suriname locality.
I do know having the locality is nice For breeding records and such.
Is there any physical differance from say a northern suriname compared to a SW locality? Like this one?
I am new to BCC so I am very excited to learn as much n as possible. I will post pictures tomorrow.
Congrats! I hope you realize that you just took your first shot of squamate "crack", and now your money, thoughts, and free time will be occupied by the reptilian addiction that is Boa constrictor. Be sure to post some pics when you receive her!
PS: Boa constrictor harbors a ton of morphological variation among and even within populations, but much of that variation is not consistent enough to useful for ID purposes. The good news is that you can never have too many B. constrictors! Perhaps you should take the male as well, since you're only postponing the inevitable by just getting a female...

I had a BCI years ago. Then moved into burms and retics. My state banned them in 07 so this will be my large snake to fill the void.
I will have more photos this AM.the only one I have now is the ad picture.
I will post that for a tease.
