2015 Clutch eggs dimpling..

My clutch of eggs are at day 31, and while checking them last night I noticed they appear to be dimpling a bit early. Incubation medium is glazed coarse vermiculite, on a diffuser, with press and seal under the lid. No airholes, just venting the tub every week. Incubation temp at 89.0f - 89.8f. by ZM thermometer in the tub itself. Humidity at 95% - 99% I always thought dimpling early on in incubation was due to the humidity being too low? Condensation visible above substrate? Sorry for the poor lighting on the second pic. Will repost next week.

Re: 2015 Clutch eggs dimpling..

Day 32 and I noticed a bit more dimpling in two of the eggs. Added about 8cc of H2o by syringe and closed everything back up. temps 89.6 presently and humidity 97% by accurite digital. Should I add more H2o or just keep an eye on the dimpling? I have not candled the eggs at anytime. Was only going on the plumpness and brightness of the eggs.

Re: 2015 Clutch eggs dimpling..

We have similar time frames on eggs and I've noticed some dimpling in mine. It's nothing to worry about.

If you feel more comfortable add water.
