Snake painting/drawing

I saw several other members posting pictures of their artwork, so I thought, "what the heck?" and decided to post some of mine.

I usually do these as presents for friends; I'm so busy that it takes a fair amount of motivation to get me started on an art project, but as soon as I do I remember how much I love it!

The following drawings were done this past winter-summer and I tried to sell prints at local shows, but no biters. Oh well, they were fun to do and I can't wait to find the time to make some more!

Pen and ink study of Cryptelytops purpureomaculatus (purple mangrove viper). I liked this so much I decided to keep a few prints of just the pen and ink study:
