Re: Two New Burmese Additions
Congrats on the Burms. Youll be able to make some cool bateaters aswell. I've always wanted a burm but the time has never been right. I wish we(usark) would just win the lawsuit already so I can get a dwarf burm female.

Thanks mate, I couldn't resist (him) he was offered to me for next to nothing so I traded my Boa against the Hypo girl. At least this pair will fit into my breeding program, even if I have added another element LOL!
My stock arrived in the country last night. I went to view today.......OMG....some of off the charts mate. I'll get some pics together when I have them home
Yep, luckily we don't have those restrictions, one benefit from living in a cold country LOL

Can't wait to see them man. Can't imagine how excited you are right now.
The sad part about the laws here is that there is no way these snakes could live anywhere in the continental US except for southern Florida(they haven't even made it to central Florida in 20+ years of being there). And yet the whole country must suffer because of bad science; the government says they can live over more than half the country.

I can't wait. Wht albino GSs look great especially with some dwarf blood. Can't wait to see pics when the neighborhood is full.
It's not really what we can keep, but we can't purchase certain species from out of our state of residence. It's a federal crime to move these animals across state lines. So my hopes of a pure dwarf burmese arnt looking great, as no one in my state(that's at all active in the reptile comunity) has pure dwarf burmese. Theres a few half dwarves though, which I am considering.
It's kind of funny though. They made it to where breeders in states with very little burm following end up with potentially hundreds of snakes they can't give away. I wonder if they even thought about the fact that stupid people might dump thousands of Burms that no longer make but cost them money nationwide.

Re: Two New Burmese Additions
Although I much prefer normals, those are some pretty ones. Although I'm not too sure the albino is also a lab (maybe a het.), I think you will have some surprises if you breed it with the hypo... And if I'm right, you got an even better deal on it than you think.
I will also add that hypos tend to be extremely variable in appearance if they are het for other genes, and the blushing on the female tells me she might prove out to be het albino as well.
Either way, I think you will have some surprises with this breeding.
