I had gotten out of reptiles for about a year, now I'm getting back into snakes for the time being before I get monitors, bearded dragons and everything else under the sun again lol. I've narrowed it down to blood pythons, scrub pythons, emerald tree boas, or possibly some retics or burms, right now I'm leaning towards the scrub pythons.
Emerald tree boas are beautiful snakes but those teeth are scary, the scrubs are probably that most dangerous due to there unpredictable nature, even as adults you have to move slow with them, I think CBB bloods are calm and not as mean natured as they were once perceived as being, I've owned retics and burms before so I want to get something I haven't worked with before
Shouldn't be a problem if you're careful. I am aware of the reach that scrubs have, but as long as you take a step back and don't get in their face, there's not much room for things to go wrong.
