Hi,

Where is the welcome forum?

Also can anybody identify this snake? Is it a junior rattlesnake? 12 inches long, Washington DC area this month, no rattle on tail but seemingly it had two fangs (I'm not sure) sheathed.

What forum is the best to post identifying snakes? If I get approved I will share some snake stories (I live outside the USA most of the year and see quite a few snakes).

To start with, are you referring to the forum in which new members introduce themselves? If so, that is the New to the Forum section.

I tend to place snake identification threads in the General Discussion section. When I tried to follow the link to the photos, it said they weren't present (with that said, it was the first time I heard of the website you used).
